Executive Director and Co‑Founder of a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the art of dance to individuals with physical disabilities and their non‑disabled partners. Led the training and choreography of more than 40 original routines for nine disabled dancers, presented across 25 performances, competitions, and benefit events. Provided direct instruction and mentorship to disabled dance partners, supporting both artistic development and embodied confidence.
Oversaw, mentored, and coordinated a multidisciplinary staff of eight across eight distinct areas of dance and instruction. Designed and executed the organization’s startup business and financial plan, including the development of nonprofit bylaws. Created, managed, and continuously updated the organization’s website, branding, graphics, and media assets, including logo design and promotional materials.
Planned, organized, and executed an average of 15 benefit events annually while working closely with media partners, volunteers, and community stakeholders. The organization received front‑page coverage in the Kansas City Star and was featured on multiple television news outlets. In addition to leadership and creative direction, provided hands‑on support for participants’ mental and physical well‑being through responsible, compassionate instruction.
